Affiliate Disclosure
Clear information on how Bore & Bed earns revenue and maintains editorial focus.
Bore & Bed participates in affiliate marketing programs. If you purchase manual brewing equipment through referral links on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission at zero additional cost to you.
How Referral Links Work
When you click an outbound link to an online merchant or marketplace, a tracking cookie identifies that you were referred by Bore & Bed. If you complete a qualifying purchase, the merchant pays our site a small percentage of the transaction. The price you pay remains exactly the same as visiting the marketplace directly.
Commercial Standards & Review Integrity
- No Fee-for-Placement: We do not accept sponsored product listings or paid placement guarantees from marketplace sellers.
- Critical Assessments Remain Active: High-commission products with design deficiencies—such as unsealed bearings vulnerable to wash water, unstable burr mounts, or proprietary non-standard filter shapes—are documented accurately regardless of payout rates.
- Inclusion of Non-Affiliate Gear: Products are cataloged based on relevance to home brewers and clear specification data, regardless of whether a commercial referral agreement exists.
